Choose Your Hook & Rig

All 10-inch sets come in three hook configurations. Pick the one that matches your bait and target species:

• 7/0 Ballyhoo Rig — Rigged and ready for a standard ballyhoo. A great all-around choice for dolphin, wahoo, and billfish. Handles smaller to medium ballyhoo with a natural presentation.
• 9/0 Ballyhoo Rig — Built for larger ballyhoo. Adds extra gap and holding power for bigger baits and larger target fish. Popular choice when wahoo and marlin are the focus.
• 6/0 J-hook — Single hook setup, no bait rig. Run it with a lure skirt or naked for a different action in the spread. A solid choice when you want a clean, simple hookset.

Leader & Rigging Notes

• For wahoo targeting, a wire or heavy fluorocarbon shock leader is strongly recommended. Wahoo have extremely sharp teeth and will cut through standard mono quickly.
• Match leader length and weight to your target species — shorter leaders for marlin, longer for wahoo.

• When daisy-chaining, rig the trailing chugger on the longest leader and confirm all swivels are rated for the species you're targeting.
